It is amazing the parts that I often find in a boneyard that work perfectly for repairs. I also recall taking parts from three non-running similar saws that were in the boneyard and making two that are now in service once again.
My boneyard consists of mostly weedeaters and riding mowers. All of them were free or very cheap and really don't need much to get going again. If I was smart I would spend the winter getting them running to sell in the spring, but bullet casting and reloading is more funner.
