She's big, that's a 660 beside it in one of the pictures. I'd say I'm going to get it, but haven't had a chance to go see him yet. The old fulla he got it off years ago reakons they were never sold down here in NZ so it had been bought over at some stage

I picked up three pioneers from a guy down here in NZ and one of them has the pull srart
on the other side. I worked in a sawmill in the day and there was a lot of pioneers sold down here.
One I have in my collection is an IEL Super Pioneer with the lever that let's the bar tip over.

One I have in my collection is an IEL Super Pioneer with the lever that let's the bar tip over.
Not totally un common then? He's trying to remember the info he was told about it. He was clearing out his shed and had forgotten it was back there for years, as you can probably tell by pictures. I'm going to do crank seals on one of his 660s for it so won't have a lot invested in it

I know the IELs and early Pioneers were popular in Australia. There's even an article in one of my old Chainsaw Age
magazines documenting a load of early Pioneers being flown to OZ. So I'm guessing quite a few made it down to
Kiwiland.
