😆 The old ZF-5 shifts like butter. The ZF-6 shifts great as well. But, the 4th gear syncors are bad. I stopped using the clutch and just shifts like it a big rig. No more grinding. LOL.

When I worked at an auto parts place, we had an S-10 delivery truck with an insanely heavy clutch. However, that thing was also super easy to float gears with and so was the truck that all the drivers wanted.

When something with old-school superior build quality gets replaced with an inferior replacement for the sole sake of "having something NEW"! 🤬

West Germany built closet with no issues whatsoever (prior to the currently in progress violent dismantling!) being destroyed to make room for an Ikea equivalent replacement.

ROFLMAO 😆

They barely dismantled the Germany made closet, utilized hammers, feet & fists and it barely budged.
No, I did not help!

The NEW Ikea closet already has a broken element (visible, front piece) that broke during assembly and there is lots more that needs to come together.

Good riddance I say!

That irritates the poo out of me. I'll always take something with good workmanship but outdated looks over trendy throwaway. The whole home remodel thing I've never understood. People spending many years worth of salary to "fix" a perfectly good and functional house just because the TV told them to.

The new Ikea closet is all askew.
No pressed chip board is level, no screws nor bolts to pull the parts into place.

I offered my help, they kinda impolitely declined. :p
I am OK with that, rather having a beer and watch my ducks. 🍻

My mom regarding a folding chair "I don't need it / I want to keep it" a years long forth & back.
I waited for a "I don't want it" phase and destroyed it today enough so she can't bring it back into the house again!

Same thing yesterday with a commode, the moment I saw it outside the house I smashed it.

Throwaway species/nation!
I am so annoyed by that mentality.

At least the commode and German made closet pieces will serve as good fuel for my shop cast iron fireplace!
Just got to cut it all down a bit and stack in an empty stable box.
