I found this in a tree near a gas line and want to know if it is a gps or transponder or what? As you can see, it is extremely small and looks to be solar. I searched the area and never found another one, I know that tech has come along way but that's scary.

I think that it is a reflector to mark a path to most likely a treestand or a pot of gold.

Seeing as you are in OH, I am pretty confident it is. If it is on your property why not bust it open and see if there is anything inside it.
