I always referred to the as thunder studs. (trade name)
Concrete anchor drill whole same size drive in and tighten nut works very well.
Just make sure to drive down as far as you can before tightening.
Germans call them Ankerduebel.

Not much corner wear noticeable to it, looks more like simple loss to rust.
The tang/tab isn't broken off, is a bit noteworthy.
The pattern halves were pretty well miss-aligned.
Did this chunk serve its purpose or get tossed aside for remelt and just somehow escaped the 2nd trip through the foundry?

Lots of "flakes" around it and more wear in a center area.
Piece between the bolt and the block looks to be more of a thickness gauge/stop for whatever is pressing the work piece.
Note the smooth pressed looking scale or such, on top of the block, favoring the work side.
The weld (only on top of "stop block") shows no impact or wear.

Lack of oily mess tells me the workpiece material flows readily under pressure.
Or else there's a reason not to get it on the parts at the stage.

The bolt doesn't show much wear or twist of the yoke end.
Repetitive use looks to be on top of the block/anvil

Far left end has a screw/bolt for some holding some other function shape protrusion.

Curious how many joints or reworks you'd see under the "patina"
