That's what happens when you have a dad who worked in a place where jet engines were rebuilt. That and having to look up so many parts for everything that breaks around here that my google-fu is getting good. I used to sit down with videos of local guides and watch where they were fishing at just to see if I could find the spot.

What's the diameter of the stem coming off of it? Still looks like you would attach a dial gauge to it to measure from a surface table.

Does the bronzish base have a lever to activate a magnet? The stand can hold the dial indicator in an infinite number of positions.
