I have a ton of Oak, Maple, and Locust. Unfortunately it has been so mild here this winter that I didn't start a fire till Jan, and have only burned thru 4 wheelbarrows of wood. Worked hard to get ready, and don't get to see the fruits of my labor.

I've burned more than four wheelbarrows, but compared to last year, I haven't burned jack.

Got a good mix of hardwood to pull from here in PA. Red and white oak, beech, hard maple, lots of black cherry. Run into some shagbark hickory now and then but oh so hard on chains. Gotta keep some of the beech and hickory around to supply buddies for smoking our speed beef!
Where in Pa? Mostly the same for me. Beech, oak, cherry, maple and some locust.

White oak, locust and wild cherry for me. Cherry always smells good in the fireplace.

I mostly burn cottonwood and some lodge pole. There's tons of Russian olives around but I hate those things so bad that I won't even bother burning saw gas to cut one.

Mainly the prickly branches. I've heard they are good for firewood but I'm allergic to them so I stay away as much as possible.
