I have a st2u-3q69 Sugihara and it does not fit a 91dl .063 3/8 chain on an ms660. What the heck did I get?

The .063 gauge fits but it looks to be 2 links or so too short.

Do you have a larger sprocket on your saw? And dumb question, but have you cranked the tensioner the whole way back?

Edit: stihl 28" chain for a 660 is 92dl, that bar number comes up as 92dl (91 dl for some reason on a few listings)

The Sugi-Hara bars are a touch longer and need a 92 driver for 28" on a regular-mount Stihl. I ran 93 driver chains on mine so I could switch between Stihl 460 and Husky 372.

Think I was wrong again. I looked up a few 28" stihl chains. I came up with anywhere from 91 to 93dl depending on who you buy it from. Same with that bar product number. Few places have it listed as 91, some have it for 92

Sounds like I need to run a 93dl if I'm going to be running an 9 pin sprocket with it then for sure. Doesn't even fit with a 91 DL and a 7 pin sprocket. Thanks guys.

If a 91 doesn't fit a 7, may want to be careful about getting a 93 and a 9. May need more links. I threw an 8 pin on a 660 the other day with an old ass oregon bar. I usually run a 7 pin. Had to go 2 links longer

Good idea.... I'm going to set it up with a 8 pin also so I'll get a 93 loop and see how much extra there is for the 9.
