Joe, you should post some pics of the two cylinders so others can see the difference in the stock ports.

How did I miss this??

Well, I'll get some pics of both tomorrow before I resume grinding on Dale's even though his exhaust port is now far from stock. ;) Biggest difference seemed to be in the transfers anyway.

Well, I was able to raise the transfers to the target 120 at the intake end and maintained the factory slope of the window. I was able to give the windows a little more area by extending them toward the exhaust being careful not to angle them toward the exhaust. (Thanks Josh for spotting that @XP_Slinger) I'm limited by the tools I have at this time (yes, Dremel warriors!) and I am not able to work the transfers as much as I would like to. Josh and I are intending to invest in some tooling better suited to this kind of work soon.

Anyway, no more complaining...here are a couple pics. Pretty basic here with raising and increasing window area a touch. Wish is could do as pretty a job on those transfers as I can do on the exhaust and intake! Don't flame me too bad please, doing the best I can. ;)IMG_20180124_172733840.jpg IMG_20180124_172723389.jpg

Lowered the intake to 79 degrees and worked the window shape with the carb screw hole castings a bit. Used the depth gauge on my caliper to mark where the holes stopped to avoid cutting into the screw holes. The intake window retains some of it's wonky shape but I think I made some improvement there, or maybe it doesn't matter.

My last little batch of smalls I needed for my 288 are in at my local dealer, so I'll be running over there after work tomorrow to pick those up.

Test and tune on Dale's cylinder should commence this weekend!!!

AFTER we run it side x side with Dale's cylinder to establish a baseline to see what I managed to accomplish. ;)

Still need to compare your KS and my Mahle with BG delete only too...

So holster those bananas for a bit longer! Lmao!
