Think I figured out the top inside the cylinder part. Squish band?

This is the second larger cylinder. The one above was the smaller bore one.

There is a good chance that he is just trying to break her in gently, he did fork out the moooooolah (sorry, that was too easy) for a new top end. Unless my ears are lying to me it sounds like it is only a few hundred RPM slow.

Not a bad sounding 288. No need to tune it, run 24:1 on milk instead of motor oil and it will clean right out. Mooooooooooooowaaaaa powa !

It's strong for a stock saw though they are heavy for there size only reason I stopped using mine is because I sold it to dave

The 266 is a pound heavier than a ms 390 but I would rather have the 266 because the 266 will run circles around it.

If it is not a bad running 288 then I guess @Moo's Yo Daddy did an excellent job considering it is a 266.
