I have a Troy Bilt TB4HB EC leaf blower with a Walbro WYLA 1, (MTD 753 05908), carb. I know aftermarket carbs are hit or miss but does anyone have any ideas for one for this blower? I've heard some have had good results with Hipa but they do not have a replacement for that carb. I may try to just rebuild this one. What rebuild kit would this thing take? I only need the gaskets & diaphragm?

Usually if you can get the kit, get one with a needle, might as well replace that too since you are in there. The kit lined above by @cuinrearview has everything you would need. I would go with that before looking at getting a replacement carb.

Thanks for the replies on this post. Writing this for an update. This blower belonged to a friend and he told me to go with the aftermarket carb. The kit was actually $3.00 more than the aftermarket carb. I purchased a Motoall carb for $12 & change. This thing came with some extras, air filter, fuel filter, etc. This carb actually has an adjustable main jet, the original did not. I installed it and after some minor adjustments it ran great. I told him I did not know how long it would last but right now he is happy. Time will tell.
