This is horsechit. I donated hard to find parts to jim to get this saw going. I cant stand when promises are broken and trust is thrown out the window. I cant do anything for Clint getting his P60 unfortunately but i damn sure can do something for Jason to get a Mac to make him smile!

Randy @Mastermind , you have a PM in bound.

Best I can tell is that he flaked the hell out on us. He owes some bars to a guy in Australia too.

People never cease to disappoint.

Well if this ain't a mess, it'll sure do until the mess gets here.

A message from me to Chainsaw Jim,
You really screwed the pooch here bud, there's not much BS that's gonna wiggle your way out of it. Not sure what brought you to this, but I do sincerely hope you can get past it. In the mean time, the right thing would to be to get these saws out of your hair, complete, unfinished doesn't matter to the rightful folks, you did a good job on them from the looks of it, ain't no one gonna take that away from you. I think you missed the whole point of OPE Forum brotherhood, when folks have troubles if you come forward guys will trip over themselves to come help you out, sadly this approach wasn't taken. I know myself having done some raffle saws it's easy to get in over your head with what's actually needed to pull it off, if it weren't for some fine folks here those builds would not have gone out on time or shortly(week or two) thereafter. At any rate, you are where you are at this point in time, please make some effort here for these folks, not all of it is even about them.
I wish you well in your future endeavors whatever they may be.
Steve

@USMC615 idk what I can do to help, but let me know. I'm very sorry and anything I can do to make it right, I would happily do.
I wont be one to stand by and let someone get screwed. I dont have much, but anything I can do will be done.
I appreciate it buddy...but I just want the ProMac 700 I chose. I want Jim to just send the damn thing, coil issue fixed or not. It has a sporadic, sticking manual oiler as well, but Jim said the automatic oiler is ample and plenty for this saw. I really don’t understand what part of ‘ship the damn saw’ he don’t quite comprehend. I don’t give a *s-wordt if it’s in pieces, which obviously it’s not...but if it were, I could find somebody in here to put it together push come to shove. I have reiterated in recent texts, the old PM concerning this with me, you, and Jim, over and over, that I am running out of time with my Navy son coming home the second week of Oct, finishing his fours years of service!

...had time to post up running/cutting with a piped MS880 on YouTube today, but ain’t got time to box a damn saw, b&c up, and boogie down to the PO...and wash his hands of this, in its’ entirety! I mean WTF!

WTF is exactly right. I think Ol Jim might have some serious mental issues.

I've explained a similar issue a good while back. My phone number became blocked when I tried communicating with him. It's a a shame, as he has a definite knack and skill, but it is what it is. You may indeed get it back but it may be a very long while. If you read this Jim, your priorities could REALLY use some addressing and I truly wish you would be able to see this. I think Jim has to hit bottom before Jim will face this. These forums and saws were/are his life, maybe the loss of respect will allow him to self reflect, and clean up his act, I sure hope so as He, Jim has a good service to offer, but until then? He should be at next year's PNW gtg or at the saw races in southern Oregon. Jim, I wish you the best of luck, but take a good look at yourself, stop blaming others and climb out of the hole your in. Take personal responsibility for your situation and take measures to fix it please. Get some professional help or at least advice.
