So was the mystery saw that Bob brought revealed? Apologies if that was already discussed somewhere in the 61 pages of this thread :)

He "revealed" at least the Husky 465 Rancher (there is a video on another site/forum).

It is a saw that obviously is designated to "steal" MS 311/391 costumers, and it is a wonder (for Stihl) that they didn't do it a long time ago.

Did it meet expectations?

Yes it is.
I used a mini zip wheel on my Dremel w/flex shaft for 95% of the work.

I will say....before anybody decides to give this a try, you better have a steady hand, patience and commitment.
I know I have at least 12hrs in chassis work on this 16" loop.

Holy crap, 12 hrs, Good thing you didn't find a piece of steel
in a log like i did. I almost cried when i looked at my 1/2" full
chisel freshly sharpened chain.

We have a Fisher metal detector dad bought when we were WoodMizering regularly.

If I had the awesome saws you have, ( and knowing my luck, I'm magnetic when it comes to buried metal in trees), I believe I'd have to use that detector before starting any one of those sweet rides.

Yes, I ran Dolkivarna 8-10 cuts. 4 with full comp chain, and 4 with full skip chain. I think I like the skip chain better.

You should have taken it for a spin... it's a hard pulling saw!
I didn't make one cut with a chainsaw all weekend!

Last year I think I made 2 or 3 cuts with one saw.

I have something here that is yours. Should I mail it back to you?

Um...
As long as it isn't time sensitive hold on for now, I may order some more mouse piss and files; make the shipment worth while...

Don't think Ben or Jerry would survive the trip too well.

That mouse piss is addicting.
