In Case y'all can't see,

That was a ChitEatin' grin I had as I handed that ECHO back to Lee.

Thank You Lee.

It's not a 797 or a SP125, but it's also not 40yrs old.

anyone ELSE have an ACTUAL STOCK 350 we can run at the next gtg in CT????

Lmao.

That saw is 100% stock, with a muffler mod. I think it even had the limited coil on it, unless he changed it out.

Better get ur grinders out boys! Hahaha

(Shamelessly copy/pasted from the FHC thread, figured it belongs here too.)

We made a helluva mess for sure! I almost feel bad for Steve, Scott and the rest of the gang from The Cutting Edge but they get to use that sweet little Kubota excavator to clean up! :dex:

I must say, this G2G was an absolute blast, and well worth the trip. (2+hrs for me, not bad at all.). Not only did we get to run some serious wood-eatin' machinery, but I enjoyed meeting a lot of great folks that I haven't run into previously. Plus, I made out like a bandit, @Definitive Dave was giving out some great freebies, I won the Makita grinder kit (drawing prize) which blows me away :bug: since I NEVER win drawings. It's a cosmic law somewhere I'm sure. :loco:

So thank you so much Dave for the tool pouch and non-flippy caps! The tool pouch is extremely innovative and well made, and the caps are going to be the cats azz for many I am sure!

A huge shout-out to @166 and his crew at The Cutting Edge as this event is undoubtedly a ton of work on their part. The food was A+ (and complimentary.... :beerbbq:) and a fella couldn't ask for nicer hosts.

And I've been singing the praises of the Dolmar 6100 for awhile now, figured there would be no better opportunity than this to bring a shiny new one home. Can't wait to send it after a few trees! :saw:

See Above you Goofball.

That 7900 is so light because it's so Plastic.

I'm not hating, just giving my observation.
That's also the first time I've ran a Dolly.

It is fast, but I don't think it would smoke my 461 with the same tune/chain/bar length.
Your 461R?!? Sheeeet... Das from South East Stihl... North East Stihl maybe...

You may have just taken the last 2 years of my life and tossed it in the garbage :( basically what I'm seeing from these results is that I can't build a saw that's much better than stock, but I sure can do worse... oh well. :(

Oh now, don't go getting all butt hurt.

Did y'all use the same B&C for all of em?

A stock saw with a good chain can make a lot of ported saws look slow.

Don't know what I'm going to do for the ct test. Can't use same bar and chain for 6 saws. :(

How much did you hog out that muffler....it sounded like more than my mods.
