I was in, but now I'm not. I'm coaching my son's varsity baseball team and just found out we picked up a tournament for next weekend. Next year....

Too bad life sometimes makes you make such difficult decisions. I know you would have liked the GTG, but best of luck to your son & his team, and enjoy the tournament! With kids, ya blink your eyes and then they're grown. Enjoy!
Yessir. He's my youngest and I'm not missing any of it. I can go to gtg's when I'm dead, but won't be able to watch him play baseball. I'll meet you guys next time

they all have brandy new chains on them from leftcoastsupply.com same chains, same bars ... all ran dry of fuel, and I will use trufuel at both the gtg's and brandy new chains for each. ...which reminds, me, gotta buy more chains lol

decked, ported, muffler modded to all similar specs, the idea was to port them all as similar as possible, to see which cylinder really is best, or rather, see if OEM really IS better....

I don't know the answer to the question, we'll see during the gtg if there is any clear winner. my null hypothesis is that there is minimal if any difference once ported.

I think there are other differences, but thats a discussion for the gtg :)

longevity is difficult to test for sure, so many variables,

I'm as curious as anyone to see the outcome here.... my 2 saws have some runtime on them, but the other 3 have only half tank through them just to set the rings a bit. I have not compared them myself, so it'll be a surprise to me as well as anyone else....

@Adirondackstihl ... are you the host of this event? can you be the trigger man for this test?

Not really the host buddy, that would be 166 & Cuttinscott.
I'd be happy to run a few 350's for ya

Dan, can you think of anyone that is going to the CT gtg that is a more well known member that ISN"T going to the ny gtg? who would be the most impartial trigger man?
