Another oil thread, lol. This one’s a little different tho. I’m wondering what everyone has to say about this video? Would be nice to get my 4 2 cycle gas cans down to 1 or 2 tho. I still currently use lawn boy 2 stroke oil to the correct ratio for 16:1, 32:1, and 40:1. And I use Husqvarna 2 stroke oil in all my 50:1 equipment. Do you guys think I should start using oil like this in everything? Do any of you already?

You have it all wrong!

Old school OPE did NOT use dedicated 2-stroke oil!
They utilized mineral engine oil, hence the 16:1 & 25:1.

Buy current modern quality dedicated 50:1 2-stroke oil, mix it anywhere between 32:1 & 40:1 and run ALL Your 2-stroke OPE on this mix.
You will have no issues whatsoever.

Come on boy!
Stop worrying about OPE/oil of any kind and start worrying about girls.
You need to get off the internet and have a life.

🍻

Thanks for the advice. I have plenty of life off the internet, with my OPE. And OPE is way easier deal with than girls too. I know how to acquire more OPE and maintain it. I have no idea how to even acquire a girl. Lol

If you don't drink, smoke or chase women.you should already be a millionaire 😂
No way I’m gonna start smoking, I’m so close to so many that do it, what a waste of money that could be used for chainsaws and what a way to ruin one’s health. I’d much rather chase women. 🤣

Like a lot of folks on here, I use dominator 32:1 in everything.
That thing is great for racing engines, but not day to day use. No corrosion inhibitors (calcium sulfonate), you’ll end up with corroded crankshafts and bearings if using it in high humidity or not often enough. Yes it happened to me first hand. Saber is better for tools if you really care about that snakeoil brand. Personally I use Motul 800 offroad 33:1 with E10 gas and its handling abuse great (milling). What more is it to ask than getting 2000+ hours of life out of a top end?

Honestly the brand doesnt seem to matter that much when it comes to wear, the biggest variable for a pro user is the amount of oil used. 50:1 seems to kill top ends and bearings prematurely, 33:1 seems to be where the curve flattens and its not a big gain going to 25:1

Amsoil says it does have corrosion inhibitors. The oil testing guru has had metal sitting in it for over 6 months and no corrosion. You can call it snake oil if you wish, lots of guys here use it with very good results. You won't change any of ours minds.
