Suehiroseiko is the company in Japan that makes Tsumura. Type this into your search engine and you can download the easily.available complete catalogue. Their bar numbering system of designations of bar styles is a bit confusing but with concentration you can decider it. They have a big bar range of mounts & styles.

Here is the list of bars that will be available from Hayward:(

numbering system is the same as the old Total Super Bars so FV is a standard weight and FK is reduced weight.

No K095 in 24" anymore?
Maybe I'm not knowledgeable enough, but I find the dl counts a little unusual. D009 mounts in 32" 050 is 105dl, and 063 is 95dl? D025 36" 063 is 103dl, but the 050 is 114? Typos maybe?
I know bars come in all kinds of dl counts, but I usually don't see 95 or 119 when looking at descriptions. The unusual dl counts would make it more of a pain for me, since I don't have the equipment to spin my own chains, and already have a bunch of pre made loops.
Also a lot of 058 stuff. I remember you saying the 058 bars didn't sell very well.
What's your take on this?

their DL counts are typos

My advice for them was to leave all the 058 stuff sitting in Japan but they didnt listen and i am not gonna bother stocking them, I have better things to tie my money up in. I bet after their initial order is sold allot of the 058 stuff wont be restocked.

for now no 24" K095...i still have plenty of those on the shelf though...last time i ordered them i got 50.

Hayward missed allot of popular bars but the other distributor claims he is bringing in the full line that Tilton carried so we will see, I havent received a hard copy of the bars they will be stocking, just vague statement that if Tilton had it, they will have it.

.058 is very popular in the Northeast, @Spike60 told me that was almost all he stocked.

i know he sells a bunch but i sell very very little and 99.9% of the bars that i ship to maine/new york are 050. I am sure there are some really happy people with the selection of 058 bars that hayward is bringing in, i am just not one of them.

I understand Nate, I can't give a .058 away down here, simply saying I can understand why Hayward brought them in.

I didnt sell 79 058 bars with every size, length, and brand combined
Do you get much call for light weight bars in shorter lengths? For instance small mount husky in say .325 16" 66dl or 3/8" 18" 68dl in something like a Tsuruma light & tough? Just wondering :)

Had a very productive meeting with Collin from Hayward yesterday, got my pre-order in yesterday as well....150+ bars including some 058 and 063 headed my way as soon as they show up.

Collin is checking into the 16/18" .325 050 bars to see if we can get some on their next order. Sounds like they are trying to take this seriously and get us what we want. Collin is a nice guy and is going above and beyond but nobody at Hayward has had to deal with bars or chains before so cut them a little slack. It is a pretty steep learning curve to take on bars and chain when you have never had to deal with them before.

And by bars and chain....for those that didnt know...Hayward also picked up Carlton chain as well so we might be seeing some of it show up at dealers again in the near future. Allot of us, including me, dropped Carlton when PD switched from it to Oregon.
