I dont know of anyone in canada that distributes, if someone knows please post.

I actually bought one from ebay that shipped from minnesota to ebay.ca distribution center which in turn shipped to me in canada.
Archerplus was the user.

Its shipped and i have a tracking number, i honestly cant wait until it gets here. Looks like a better choice to husky tech lites for about the same price.

I'm a dealer (US) Archerplus is the US distributor you purchased straight from the warehouse.

Well i finally got some of the stihl light 04 bars.
Did some initial measurements on thickness of the bar and weight of the bar. I for one am not a big fan of light weight bars. All bars are 3003 mount 16"/.325/.050/67DL

Tsumura 200fv4 with 48pv82 tip
.175 thick 1lb-15.9oz

Stihl Rollomatic 3003 008 6613
.166 thick 1lb-9.9oz

Stihl Light04 3003 000 3313
.166 thick 1lb-7.5ozIMG_20201017_212344.jpg IMG_20201017_212214.jpg IMG_20201017_212125.jpg IMG_20201017_212036.jpg

I have not had a chance to run the light 04 bar. Should have some time this week i hope.

On a side note not sure why stihl needed to trash up the bar with graffiti.
They're trying to inject their brand with some pizzazz. Have you seen the plastics on the 500i and ms881? Angular, funky, trying for a new look.

I think you might be right. And maybe the new angles are for strength. Since they all seem to be bent on lighter weight saws. I like the more square old saws my self but I guess at the end of the day they all cut wood.

Good info! I've been looking for someone who actually held an 04 Light bar and could weigh/measure it. What is the profile like, if it is overlaid on the regular Stihl E bar? It looks like it has less belly. Sure isn't much of a weight difference.

For comparison purposes:
Stihl Rollomatic 3003 008 6813 16"/.063/67DL
.176 thick 1lb 10.7oz

Sugihara LW SV2U-3J40HV 16"/.063/67DL
.186" thick 1lb 11.6oz

Curious to see a thickness measurement of the above Sugi bar, in .050.

I still can't find a dealer, ordering from Bryan Equipment, that can get me some 23RSPro and 23RMPro. I want to try one of each.

Interesting. Ok. I've never felt any drag or resistance using the Stihl 23 RS PRO chain on regular Tsmura Bar. In fact, it was the fastest setup I had...

Are you running the Tsumura Bar with the 23RS pro chain? If so which Tsumura. I have Stihl MS260's and 026's. I'd be interested in your thoughts on how this set up is working for you. Thanks

Looking for a light weight bar for my MS260. May go with the Cannon super mini. I have an 18" for my 026. Thus far I am running the Stihl RS pro chain on it.
I like it thus far. I've looked at the Sugi Hara's and the Tsumura's -- not sure how these three compare in weight though.

Yes. I run a Tsumura 16" .325 .050 regular bar with that new 23RS Pro Stihl chain. It works well. No issues with either the bar or chain.

From what I've seen/experienced, there aren't any significant (if any at all) weight savings over a Rollomatic E bar. My Sugi Light 16" listed above has a 1 ounce gain over a Stihl E bar. I couldn't find a Tsumura Light in 16" .325/.063 or .050 in the US.

I have a Tsumura Light 20" 3/8 .050, and it is only 2 ounces lighter than a Stihl E bar. The real weight savings come when you compare Tsumura/Sugi lights to Stihl ES bars. The Stihl laminated E bars are pretty dang light already...and they're cheap.

I recently heard from a pro logger that bore cutting ruins Tsumura tips in very little time, 3 only lasted less than a week each.

Any guidance on where to turn in Ontario CA for the Tsumura bars would be greatly appreciated.
I'm from down under, but trying to get me hands on them to get them to a family member over there
Also, do Tsumura do a 32" lite bar in Husky 3/8-058?
Or is it only the 33" and 36"?

You may have better luck finding a dealer on the Pacific rim, or ebay au.
