You' d be fairly amazed at how much more compression a saw has when you put the spark plug back in .

I was sold a MS460 I was told had no compression, and the lead tech demonstrated it by pulling the recoil effortlessly. There was nothing wrong with the P&C, the plug and decomp plug were both missing! Unfortunately, it had other problems, like bad main bearings.

I once carried a chainsaw way into the backwoods to a very remote fishing camp, canoe and portage 5 times, 4.5 hour trip if no doddling about.
