Perhaps, I see them replacing lots of rear av mounts if gorillas get ahold of them. The av mounts are not super firm either.

I dont get upset talking about either brand, if its relevant discussion then its fine by me!I liked the idea stihl had with putting wires inside the springs to limit movement on the 462 (yes I know mentioning a stihl in a husky thread). It also had a limiter pocket exactly like the 572 in the picture. I guess if you try hard enough you can break anything. I think we’re all guilty of pryin’ on em once in a while, however if your bottoming the limiter pocket out hard enough to break it your being too rough. Best to get the wedge, another saw or machine if she’s pinched bad. I just want the mounts to be strong enough that they can handle poppin’ a face cut out or pulling out of a light pinch or two.

Thank you. That's what I was implying by my response. Let's let bygones be bygones and enjoy discussion even if just for discussion sake.Chainsaws.....we're we to talk about Chainsaws.
It's time to end the silliness.
@shadco is that little fella a 241? Heard those are savage little saws with some work!
Hey shad, any more video of the 572 in action?Yes it an XS241-C it has a little extra sausage. The 572XS does too now.
