Perhaps, I see them replacing lots of rear av mounts if gorillas get ahold of them. The av mounts are not super firm either.

It's a failure point even in the 385/390s - I just pulled two apart that had led hard lives, and in one, both rear mounts were broken.

I liked the idea stihl had with putting wires inside the springs to limit movement on the 462 (yes I know mentioning a stihl in a husky thread:rolleyes:). It also had a limiter pocket exactly like the 572 in the picture. I guess if you try hard enough you can break anything. I think we’re all guilty of pryin’ on em once in a while, however if your bottoming the limiter pocket out hard enough to break it your being too rough. Best to get the wedge, another saw or machine if she’s pinched bad. I just want the mounts to be strong enough that they can handle poppin’ a face cut out or pulling out of a light pinch or two.

I dont get upset talking about either brand, if its relevant discussion then its fine by me!

That being said, you aren't wrong about any of what was said!

I wonder if husky will offer available stiff springs for the 572 like they did for the 372 and 390xp. I probably wouldn’t use them for the bars I run, but for those guys out west running long bars it would be a nice option I’m sure.

Hey shad, any more video of the 572 in action?

Got stormed out yesterday and too many people around at the flying field today so the saws sat idle, maybe tomorrow but more likely later.

I did get to run it a bit yesterday maybe a quarter tank it’s noticeably stronger.

Sitting be the sidelines.

I'm something alright! I'm afraid I've been dragging my feet on getting it shipped to Scott. I was hoping to have it back for the gtg but I've made that impossible Haha I am my own worst enemy sometimes.
