Got it at a good time. Just think. It could have come down on kids or staff if you didn't make it happenJust got done with some monster elms one was 50+" for 20 feet above the ground and had a 125+ in span. The other was hollow and failed on a nice sunny day landing directly where the school staged its busses to load kids. Luckily it was summer or I'm sure they'd have had a giant lawsuit if someones kid was hurt. Yeah they were very lucky it did not appear hollow and had a full green canopy. I would not have guessed it to be a risk just looking from the ground. But stem that failed had ants and part of a bees nest in it. It was so hollow it didn't seem possible that it could support such a full growing top. Definitely a reminder from this job to inspect things very closely when asked for a risk assessment. Not that they'd asked on this particular tree it was already laying in the street when I got the call.Got it at a good time. Just think.
