Saw this guy fanning a couple days ago. Right before I took this pic he bum rushed a couple jakes. I've killed bigger. But he'll do. Especially since he appears to be stupid.

Noah and I have at least one thing in common -- he said he "was not well satisfied with the world and its trends". (Perhaps an understatement for both of us).
Certainly an intriguing figure, and fascinating person to learn about. I admire anyone that can live completely off the grid -- especially someone who did it so

I try to Hunt, Fish & Garden every year, and I butcher my own deer. It may only produce a small amount of what I consume, but it helps me to appreciate what it takes to bring food to the table. It does not grow shrink wrapped!

We've raised a garden ever since I can remember. I can skin and prep wild game for meals. My schedule has prevented me from hunting and fishing much the last few years (though I still enjoy it). There is nothing like sitting down at the table to eat knowing that you personally had a hand in bringing the meat and veggies in.

There is nothing like sitting down at the table to eat knowing that you personally had a hand in bringing the meat and veggies in.
Freshly filleted road kill partridge is my specialty.
Fry thems up in some bacon grease!!!

I always swerve to hit the puckers!!!

Those days have eluded me for some years now. It sadly may just be a thing of the past for my family.

Of all the wild game I've put on the table, the wild turkey was one of the best tasting.
If I we're blind folded I don't believe I'd be able to tell the difference between a store bought one and tofu.

I love grouse! But, some some roasted garlic, sauteed onion and olive oil taste just as good and is a lot healthier!
Open fire, shoved on a stick, seasoned with garlic powder and seasoning salt. You're welcome
