Thanks RI Chevy!

I was looking for a new, or very lightly used one for my new saw. I just got off the phone with Nate (Couldn't have been a nicer guy BTW) He's out of the 28" ones, but has been putting in a whole bunch of effort to change that. He was able to hook me up with a couple of 20" bars for my little Stihl though.

Great prices, and a really good guy. For anyone out there thinking about buying from him, l say buy with confidence!

I've bought a bit of stuff from Nate. I have nothing but positive to say. Two thumbs up from me too

Is it possible to convert the husky mount to Stihl? I waited too long to get one myself :(

I think you can go Stihl to Husqvarna only. There is an adapter to go from bigger to smaller. I don't think you can go the way you asked.

There is an adapter to put a large Stihl mount bar on a large Husky mount saw. I have a couple and they work great. I have also had Husky mount bars milled to fit Stihl. I had my 28" Husky mount bars milled to fit Stihl, and use them on both with or without the adapter. That way I don't have to have both 91dl and 93dl chains. Just makes it easier for me to keep things simple.

Lol. I wasn't even thinking about fabrication. I thought he was asking about a straight forward simple conversion.

Lol. You have to be real good and real steady to carry that out Mike. I wouldn't even think of trying it. I'd just buy the correct mount. But I guess if you were hell bent on adapting it you could. Lol

I've done several. It's just a chainsaw bar. Nothing super precise there. The groove now I wouldn't free hand one of those.

Man, thanks you guys!

Mdavlee, let me see what pops up. If I don't find one for a Husky, I'll send you a PM so we can get something worked out. Nate's sending an adapter for my Stihl 36" ES we'll see how it works.

Jon1212, how do you like the Sugihara's compared to the Total Super? The Totals caught my eye, because the holes were offset from one side to the other. It gave me the impression they would be a bit more ridged than some of the other brands of light bars.

If those Sugi's are just as tough, I think I'll have to go with them. The link you provided has 28 and 36" in stock and the prices look pretty damn competitive.

Brian C. I took a quick look at weedeaterman's website, but I'm too hungover to read all the little details just yet....lmfao! Me and some buddies got into a fight with waaaayyyy to many 30 packs of Budweiser last night. Lawd help me!

Thanks again for the support guys!

The Total Super Bars are Tsumura bars. Either of them will do you well. Redbull97 did some nice comparison cuts with a few different bars. His testing showed the Tsumura bars running the coolest throughout. Just some reading for you if you're interested.

Pat,

The Sugi's are made with very high quality, and very durable steel. Rigidity isn't an issue, due to the limited number of cutouts, and the spanning areas between the cutouts. The weight savings isn't as good as the Tsumura/Total/Lazer version though.
