Looks just like the old one in my dads garage I'm gonna cut my teeth on soon.Stay with old American made machines! This 185.00$ craigslist find has served me VERY well for what it is. My dream lathe would be a Monarch 10EE or a Southbend Heavy 10. We'll keep the the old Atlas crankin' though!

Just kidding. Lol. I appreciate old american machines that's stood the test of time. IMO Leblond is the best engine lathe ever made.
LeBlond is a great machine also, they owned South Bend for a while before Grizzly. I have seen several LeBlond lathes for sale around here, they always command premium money.
Cause they are worth it.
