I can see where there could be a lot to this, I do wish you well with your testing. Have one more thought, maybe when you're all done, save the oil samples you have and do a pour test this winter. To me that would be extremely interesting. A lot to this oil business...
What would a pour test tell you given the oil is mixed with gasoline?

I don't think we can say that from one test.
Agreed. Do u think there is alot to learn here with this setup? Seems if setup and if one knows what he is looking for it could tell one alot of how the oil is reacting in that one paticular saw anyway? Any suggestions for Redbull ?

Yes, I have had that problem with some oils in some of my saws. My 281xp in particular will let you know right quick if it does not like what oil it was fed come winter time. Mule could not pull it over. I too have started them in extreme cold without issue. Seemed like they did not act all the same to me with different oil used. Did not want a major derailment here just simply wanted to ask if that was possible is all, as it was very interesting to me. End.

I would be interested to see how Klotz BeNol did as far as heat goes.
I realize that it is a summer oil and not to be used in the cold.

I've tuned my sled with an EGT race pak for years. Anytime you monitor temps it was always EGT. I liked to stay around 1250 but have been on the edge at 1325. Prolonged periods of 1325 didn't end well. I smoked 7 jugs in that sled before it was perfect.

If I EVER get my flat top 66 back its gunna have a race pak on it
