We have the "Face Behind The Name" so I thought we could have Somewhere to show a little of the place you come from .."The Place Behind The Name" . I live in a part of the UK called The "Cotswold Hills" summer 2012 to spring 2013 033.jpgPhoto0565.jpgPhoto0567.jpgPhoto0323.jpg
We are from all over on this forum and would be good to see a little of what you see day to day.
Some views from my place ...The one taken standing in the stubble field is the same field you can see half plowed up looking from my garden. The pic looking towards the woodland over the fields is where my firewood comes from and finally there is a view standing on a hill not far from me looking over the River Severn Vally towards "Wales" in the distance

Yeah,1959 Farmall 560 diesel. Fasthitch, wide front, three valve hydraulics,God only knows how many hours. I've owned it for 25 years.

Have a T/A? I scrapped a 560 forklift about 5-6 years ago. My best friend has a '63 with a 2001 loader his dad bought new and a locked up one with a fast hitch that I hauled to him for parts.

Oh yeah it's got a good T/A. T/A delete tractors are nearly unheard of up here. Wouldn't happen to have a D-282 in your pile?WP_20160406_001.jpg
Not looking good for my 706 :(

I hope that forklift was a solid rust. Rough ground forklifts are like gold.

Spot on Sir ...Cotswold sheep are on the "Rare Breeds " list now though. ..Wool isn't what it once was and the meat trade is different in its requirements compared to the old breeds.
Looking at other pictures put up so far , there seems to be a similarity in rolling pasture and woodland in the US and the UK.

No IH engines laying about, the forklift was locked up tight, tires and rims shot and gauges busted. I pulled the mast and forks off as well as the good sheet metal and small bits.

Was that water or either damage? I'd be guessing water by the blowed head gasket signs there

I'd say water. I only put a hundred hours on this engine. Came to me supposed to have less than three hundred on a fresh rebuild. Something ain't right.

Pretty sure Burgh's don't have one they don't last long. I can't afford Dennis. I got a guy checking Morrison's out in Creston. Much as I hate to I may peal the rubber(it's knee deep in Firestones on all four corners) and ship it.
