I know a guy that uses it for deer hunting. He nails the lid to a tree, cuts the bottom out of the jar and screws it back in the lid. He says they lick it clean.

Butter crust, whip some peanut butter and powdered sugar together and put a layer in the bottom. Make your custard with the leftover pb/sugar mix. Going to chill it first for after supper.

Standard 1950 betty crocker vanilla cream pie recipe with the extra pb and sugar mix in it. Use about a 1 to 1 1/2 cup of pb per pie and mix in some powdered sugar until it is just still spreadable. About half in bottom of pie and rest in custard as you heat it before tempering eggs in.

Ok thanks. I might try it one day. My wife loves peanut butter. I'll have to Google it and learn what tempering eggs is.
