The second one, a "one armed bandit" from 1987 looks good too.
Sure there is more dust'n'dirt and the starter attached to her doesn't match the saw's year of manufacture.

The chain brake seems to be new and I bought a better matching starter in ebay.
With all the parts cleaned, she looks pretty promising

Have you ever tried the PS-6800i ? Same weight as the 6000i but noticeably more power.
But I agree with you: Both are quality products!
I have not but would like to. I understand the term muscle saw after having this. I ran across a 120si recently for sale that appeared to have the switch for heated handles on the side. The seller said it did not and that was another switching means for the ignition as it was a logger’s felling saw? So I did not pursue it further and was priced over 2X what I paid for this saw.

Keep on trying! 120si is very similar, about half a pound less weight but with an inferior chain brake.

Sounds like crap to me...
