So how would I go anout attaching the nylon to the bottom half of that filter?
I have read hot glue works on the frame. Not sure if there is a better adhesive
Visit the glue aisle of your local home center. They will have a variety of urethane and other ('Gorilla') glues that are marked suitable for plastic and fabric.

It will be kind of hit and miss. Many of the nylon/plastic are impervious to most adhesives.

I got an question for your Dolmar lads.
What PTO bearings has they used on different models, and what crankshaft threads do Dolmar use?

I asked on Another Site but have not had a response so far. I am looking for an IPL for a 5105 and some advice. Looks like I will need to split the case and replace the bearings (might as well replace the seals while I'm at it), is the case gasket needed or would a good sealer like Dirko HT or Threebond be sufficient.

Does anyone have experience removing the base gasket on the 5105? Seems like the OEM gasket is quite thick.

TIA

Mark

Yea.....but ....did that box have a new 32-35 in it ?
She would have been on the shelf if the box had contained a PS-32! ;)

No, the box contained a bunch of OEM parts from Dolmar Germany.
I too hoped for a free saw while unpacking, but it didn't happen.:(

Then again, what would I be doing with a PS-32 anyways - I can barely restrain myself from using my PS-7900 for every and any job at hand. :D

I have to get my Sachs-Dolmar 105 out of the ReHab bucket she's been condemned to - of all my saws she deserves the most to get pictured.
