Between the 6401, 6421 and 7900 I honestly can’t remember left or right. I’ll have to walk to the shed in the morning before the blizzard starts.

New OEM red cylinder and AF covers are available in Europe/Germany.

All red cylinder covers are left hand DeCo and on new covers the hole will not be open but closed shut so One can just as well drill a hole on the opposite side.

Andrew or any other European member should be able to get them.

You don't need a DeCo on these saws!
Two of mine have the DeCo and I never use them.

That looks like it but different color. It really threw me when I couldn’t find a dcs 390. Thank you.

Originally Sachs-Dolmar 102 , later Dolmar PS-33 , falls into the PS-400 saw family after all.

I personally don't know.

Small cc power head, a lot of plastic - but they made them for quite a while and Makita adopted the unit into their lineup so it can't be all too bad.

Have had experience with the 401 Dolmar (very similar).
Rubber AV, older open port design of cylinder . They are not a bad saw ....but as you would expect have been improved on regarding AV and overall performance /build design by the current offerings from Dol/Mak.
The recoil is tucked away so is more work to do the simple things needed to it.

You won’t go wrong with that one plenty of spares around and donor saws

Its a PS-390 in teal. Very nice saw and with a little muffler mod it will become one
of your favourites
