Should be ashamed posting a picture with a stihl hat and a wheel chock of a saw. Just busting your balls. That's a dandy sugar maple.

About all I cut yesterday was hard maple saw logs and veneer. It's paying real well rite now.Lol.
I wonder if maple sawlogs and peelers are still high? I remember in the early 90's It wasn't worth much, but later became a way of making a few bucks.
Wish I could sell some of this utra fine grain white spruce we have around here.
What lengths do you cut the veneer? I sold mine @ 8'6" , 9'3" and 10'3".About all I cut yesterday was hard maple saw logs and veneer. It's paying real well rite now.
We send allot of double legenth stuff 19 21 23 normally it's only the butt cut that makes veneer. The doubles keep the ends from checking and drying out. What lengths do you cut the veneer? I sold mine @ 8'6" , 9'3" and 10'3".
I hear Penn State has the best Cherry.
Penn state cherry has nothing on the Cherry from Kane and Potter county PA. Best cherry in the world. No gum no red rot and a tight sap ring. What lengths do you cut the veneer? I sold mine @ 8'6" , 9'3" and 10'3".
