Another day in the bush. Been sawing 7 days a week now. Average of a gallon of saw gas per day. got these two put in the same hole, it was a tight window for sure.

He is my right hand man. Blizzard is his name, Texas mini blue heeler. He is pretty much by my side 24/7, which is good cause I need him for panic attacks from ptsd and he needs me for treats lol

Sounds like a good arrangement for both of you.
We lost our dachshund chihuahua mix named Lucy last month, and our neighbors Blue heeler, who happens to also be named Lucy, comes to visit while we are out working in the yard.
Of all the people ive met, I like the dogs that have come to meet me the best.

Snort & I go out into the woods together most of the time. He’s a blue heeler/border collie rescue mix, and he’s warm, and like velcro. I have him trained well enough where he stays exactly where I want him when I cut wood, and he’s gotten to be really good around equipment. I would hate to see him get cut by a saw or smashed, and I’m dreading when his time is up, I like him more than any other dog I’ve had.

Cleanup after a storm spring of 2020, we had big areas affected but it was cleared quite fast with me on the ground with my 357xpg and my brother in the Rottne H8 harvester we cleared the problem.

Yea woodslasher hit it on the nose. That's one running saw, XS modified, it pulls right with a stock 372xp, but it seems to like a little more rpm too.

Cleanup after a storm spring of 2020, we had big areas affected but it was cleared quite fast with me on the ground with my 357xpg and my brother in the Rottne H18 harvester we cleared the problem.

Looks like a catahoula to me...

I dunno about that, it has the enormous Dingo ears, stout hind quarters and the front hips have the same look as a blue heeler. The coat screams ACD with the longer top coat. The thick head with the short snout that tapers into the head suggests ACD as well.

Catahoulas usually have floppy ears, and aren’t that thick along their backs towards the rear of their bodies, and their rear leg muscles aren’t as thick and strong as a blue heeler. They’re built a lot more like a heavy and athletic hound.

I’m taking it as an ACD. Both breeds come in a wide variety of colors.

OMG yes! Nothing like waking up at 2 am to split kindling and light a fire, better than fresh ground coffee

LOL,,, I keep my kindling split in a covered galvanized bucket,,, and usually split a bit after supper just make sure I have plenty for the stove to heat the camphouse and yes red cedar smells grand,, but primary firewood is black jack oak

Well, nice is a relative term. It runs strong, but the small mount SUCKS! Case is broke so I will be upgrading to a big mount case.

Well with the awesome help of stevetheboatguy, my 357 is a heated full wrap, my primary saw now. Got just a little brush stuck in the sprocket cover lol
