They sound great from a distance but if you have to work or drive one it’s a different story and they don’t have the torque for out here.

I work on the detroit's all the time, and drive em, but I can no longer hear anything, well worth it if you ask me lol. Thinning contractor I work for has 2 mountain logger model H with 3-53 and straight pipes. His lowboy is a w900l kenworth with 8v92TA SILVER series and it's pumped up, if you keep your foot in it with a load and hit 1900 rpm it will spontaneously remove the rear driveline. Serious torque but only at high rpm

...owner of a 78 star w/silver 92 - first time i got in it.

I've seen 71's and 92's take over 3k tuned up. Hell a CAT heavy haul tune will turn 2300rpm.

Only ever rode in an 80's international, 9370? 6v92 and boy was it loud to ride in, won't shift low like a caterpillar.
