Just out of curiosity what do most of you guys weigh? If I’m running equipment all the time I’m around 135 140 range if I’m running the saws I dip back into the 120’s.

Yeah, unfortunately some of them end up that way. We had one unit by Fivemile creek that was about 3400' to the bottom. At the end it was a good 45-50 minutes getting out of that hole.

Carl's Junior and Taco Bell - heck yeah!

I ran about 175# when I was cutting. I'm running about 195# now. :coleman:
yes, yes you will, at least there isn't much brush (that I can see)
Some spots are clean completely burned all the brush then other spots are really brushy .

I'm a tall skinny sob lol 6 foot 160 lbs and getting uglier by the day lol. My weight don't change at all, doesn't matter if I'm laying around eating Christmas candy and cookies all day or sawing my butt off in the summer. last year was an exception to that, gained 40 lbs for no reason then lost it all in 5 months. That turned out to be food and environmental allergies that was causing major inflammation in my digestive tract. Thank god I know what to avoid now!

That's me about 10 years ago, I look the same now except mostly grey hair lol. This was a unit in northern tip of idaho near upper priest lake, big time grizzly county. A few occasions I packed my 44 mag revolver with me for the half mile hike in the dark into my saw unit. Luckily, I didn't have to use it. Fun times, here I'm pinched with my 044 and borrowed my partners 372 and got it pinched too. Talk about a brush fit!Screenshot_20201214-081343~2.png

I’ve been at 168# for awhile now. I happen to be the guilty one on Carl’s Junior. :D

My old man told me one time that if you're getting 5-6 hours in on the saw a day, then you need to be eating at least 5-6,000 calories, depending on the weather (more if it's cold and wet). He would take a sandwich and a couple candy bars into the brush and nibble while he was fueling up. I usually ate a decent breakfast on the way up to the unit and then had a big lunch afterward. I got in the habit for a while of getting biscuits and gravy at South Stop market on the way out of Roseburg because they were open 24 hrs and had good coffee.

Was out clearing out an old skid trail with my clearing saw this summer and it got real hot out. So I could hear a creek flowing about a quarter mile away. Hiked my way over to the stream and stumbled upon this contraption in the middle of nowhere. It has a tag that says property of usda. Some sort of water collection device. That creek was sure welcome, filled my mac T with water and poured it over my headIMG_20201010_102618478.jpg
