So I found a Hyway 46mm closed port top end in a box.......after the clips folding up while trying to install them, I pitched it all in the trash. Why was I trying to use garbage?

I built one with a Hyway 46mm CP jug and a 028 Super piston. It needed some of the squish band cut out, I had to stack gaskets to get the squish acceptable. Then the dome on the piston smashed the electrode shut on my park plug the first time I tried to start it. I never checked to see where the timing numbers fell. It ran, but wasn’t worth writing home about. If I recall the ridiculous thing made like 235lbs of compression cold before break in.

After all this commotion I got inspired and looked Wyatt's saw over. Someone forgot to install the impulse grommet. Not mentioning any names...stinkin kid! No wonder the damn thing wouldn't run. Lol

Little bugger runs pretty decent.

346XP jug.....

Bolt pattern is off pretty bad front to back, and there's no room under the intake spout for the boot with it sitting on the flat 55 case.

As far as a cylinder swap goes, I don't think the view is worth the climb. There's plenty of OEM options to mess around with along with various pistons. Parts are dirt cheap which makes it kinda fun.

@Mastermind a 254 is 45MM and the piston is windowed maybe that would be a possibility for a piston for the Bubba?
