For cleaning saws and forestry clearing saws I compared the following 3
cleaners. Here you can see my very own ranking:
STIHL VarioClean > Oregon MX14 >> degreaser (no famous brand, just supermarket stuff)
cleaning instruction* for very,... very dirty parts:
(A):
-brush off the dust/dirt
-mix VarioClean and Water 1:20
(hot water works much better)
-spray VarioClean on the parts
-let them swim in your mix for at least half a day
(one day needed during winter)
-clean the parts with fresh water
if some part is not clean: return to (A)
[the mix can be used several times]
else: done
