It was either the 540 or XL925 as I pulled the rope out of my 1050 and the muffler broke off my 550 on the first cut of the day.

that 1050 was sweet!!!

Big & Heavy sucks unless you've got a purpose for it: more modern 70-90cc saws are so much more user friendly.

And I like big heavy saws if you haven't noticed, but there are more useable sizes & platforms.

An 066/MS660 & Husky 394/5 come to Mind.

0000 400 1300...this will replace a points unit...find aftermarket, oem are expensive. if it has points, cut the wires.

True......but even if it is a point ignition saw the 1300 coil will work with that flywheel.
