This is my go to joke when around new people.
Do you know how to catch a polar bear?
Go to the Arctic and drill a 5’ hole in the ice. Then take a bag of frozen peas and place them 1” apart all around the the hole. Then you need to hide behind a snow bank and wait. Sure as chit a polar bear will come and check out the hole. And when he bends over to take a pea, you kick him in the ice hole.

It is difficult to describe the impact — physical and personal — of that first shot. It felt like a meteor had struck the earth in front of me. A deep shock wave coursed through my body, the recoil rippling through my arms and right shoulder with astounding power. Being that close to an explosion of such magnitude — controlled and focused as it was — rattled me.
