Undee70ss is the Homelite guru - he said
"In the early 70's, the Homelite owner's manual for chainsaws was is not saw specific. It just gave very general instructions on how to start, cut, stop the saw, very general sharpening instructions, general maintenance and saw storage. The XL12, SXL, Super EZ, SXL925, VI955 all got the same owners manual. In the later 70's some saws started getting their own owners manual. I don't have, or have seen a owners manual just for the SXL925."
