I used to use these with a hammer to take off old manifold gaskets from SBC heads. Cracked the handle off twice, never broke the blade.

FYI, on mag or al sometimes it's best to drag these and they'll peel the gasket or sealer right off.

Thats a nice scraper
I used to have a brass scraper it was the best for removing gaskets.It grew legs and walked awaybeen bummed ever since.
I use a copper one now that I made from a piece of pipe works great softer than aluminum so won't scratch and sharpenes easy

never get a copper splinter they ache down to the bone for days after removal
never make a recreational pipe from copper tubing, when your lung collapses all the guys at work will talk about what a *pretty boy you are

Maybe... I just had a 655bp on my bench that had the hardest stuck on cylinder base gasket ever. I remembered using Shaun's scraper and how quick and easy it removed stuff. Don't remember it gouging any of the surfaces. Supposedly at the right angle you only "push" the gasket material off instead of digging under it with a sharper blade. I guess I don't care exactly how it works as long as it saves me time and aggravation.

If it's alright with you guys, I might just get small flat rate USPS boxes and have you guys pay through paypal as a regular payment (2.9% +$0.30+$6.10 for mailer) to ship them out. It will be easier to pack, print label, and drop in mail that way for me. Unless someone has a easier way to get these all in similar boxes with printed labels?? The route also allows me to get paypal payments up front so I don't have to out of pocket $500+ for the order. Obviously this doesn't apply if you get them at a GTG or in person somehow, I'd just have you pay for the scraper cost as paypal friend. Sound fair?
