My pump is fine but the float switch works intermittently. Is the switch rebuildable or do I have to buy a new one?
I've had issues with mine twice. It just needed repositioned and re-zip tied. I should get a stainless tie. Is yours secured correctly? Replacements are cheap btw, the unit is sealed so i don't believe you can get inside without breakage.
They have diaphragm switches now, that might work better depending on your pits depth.
I hate that style. It stuck on my old one. It was strait up and never came on. Had an inch of water in basement from it. I just touched it and the ball thing inside made conection and started working. I went that day and baught a battery back up and shortly after switched to a columb style.
