Hi, I’m looking for a service /workshop manual for a Stihl 025 chainsaw. After nearly 20 years of trouble free use, it’s started to play up and stalls shortly after starting.

Welcome to the forum!
Probably due for a carb kit and tune up.

Carb has been cleaned in ultrasonic cleaner, serviced with carb kit fitted, new pick up filter, tank breather checked, fuel line pressure checked ..... and still it fails to run as expected.
Next to try will be a new impulse line and intake boot. After that, I’m at a loss!

@Aceface I know this is not the place to have a discussion, but is the compression good and have you looked at the piston through the exhaust (take it off) see if 8t scored?

loads of possibles maybe start a thread, and take a vid and post it.
