Stihl tri blade on FS70?

Hi, I have a Stihl FS70 and I’d like to mount a tri knife brush blade on it but the chart says it won’t take it. I do have the mounting kit for it. Can I use the existing guard for it and Is there any reason why I shouldn’t use this blade on the 70? I have lots of vines and brambles to keep pushing back. Thank, Larry

It can be done but the reason why they say not to do it is because the 70 has a flex cable. Technically you're supposed to use the brush cutter guard but I don't use any kind of guard at all. Run it at your own risk.
