Are they prone to leak?

I have a MS311 here that runs away with the throttle set on idle.

Covers look glued on. No screws.

Shaft seals looked fine but I’m putting new ones in anyway. And reseal the cylinder base. [emoji1696]

Them covers just pry off?

I don’t want one breaking. [emoji90]

I couldn’t pry them off a 201t cylinder. Tried heat, various solvents. Wouldn’t budge.

In that case I’ll just add another layer of epoxy around the edge using a toothpick. [emoji848]

I have to try something before I buy an aftermarket 391 top end.
