After searching numerous thread the question still remains, are the 880 carbs limited? Some say yes and some say no. 361 coil or 441 coil why we are on the subject?
084 carb? Is there a way to change the nozzle or jet in the 880 carb to eliminate the limit?

If all this is for a stock saw you better get a builder to port it. You ll get response and power more than you think
I don't remember the 880 carb being limited, just that the latter ones are smaller. I could be wrong.
Newer walbro is smaller than the older tillys. I would assume the boot is smaller as well. View attachment 179087View attachment 179088View attachment 179089View attachment 179090
2017 model 880. Installed a 361 coil in it but it will not go over 12,000 even if the high speed is shut off. Saw runs awesome but I do believe it could use more rpm. I could be wrong.
He's been around the block a few times himselfBetter follow the advice of this gentleman blsnelling
