Yea, sounds real interesting to me also, but the 462 is 72 cc and already available, and at 13.25 lbs, it does it for me. I think that is as light or lighter than some of the mid 60 cc Dolmars.

Jeff, even the new 562 is 13.2 lbs (6 bolt case). Not knocking how they run at all, but I'd rather have this!

the 462 does have me wondering if i need anything in the 60cc class when the 462 is just as light and small but with alot more power.......I have to hand it to stihl they did an incredible job with this saw!

Not to get too far off topic but the talk of the 084/088/880 full blown replacement has me wondering if it will be mtronic. An 880 mtronic for some reason to me I think would be pretty cool.

Because 7kw (9,5hp) or 8kw (10,9hp) are enough.
