Sounds like it will be a great saw, and I'm also wondering what the weight will be. However, since I have both a 261 Ver II and a 462, I'm not sure that I will need one! Those 2 saws make a great combo.

Ditto, the 261/462 is such a great combo to me. But with the way things are going weight-wise, it may be time to throw out the 50/70 cc combo for light weight 60/80 cc combo.

And the best part will be not needing a belt with the wallet so much lighter

Yep, NR750 in 1992

It is a V4 setup to get around the 4 cylinder regulation for that racing class

utopian v8 with 4 combustion chambers, later regulations about piston shape changed and goodbye oval

imho Wankel engine is far more interesting, back to chainsaws the Dolmar Sachs kms-4

Aren't they always , 2 or 3 years of testing seems about right but it makes me wonder how the hell they release a donkey after testing for that long ......

There's a reason the 460 and 660 come out here with duel port muff as stock and we are usaly the last to see new models as the testing in our wood is harder on saws ......

I had no idea they were still making the true "Magnum" versions of those saws elsewhere in the world! They were only available here briefly, I believe in the mid 90s. After that, Magnum stickers were just added to improve sales! It worked "scary" well!

And I must admit I was very surprised to see the 461 come out here with the US muff cover must be epa crap to keep temp up .
