Yeah, RI, I got the comstick pro bar. Do a little advertisment in the woods for them!!! Next up is a 24" bar but I think I'm going L&T on it. I think I'm going to sell my almost new 24 & 28" stihl es.

Comstock Logging Supplies states that it is made by Oregon. I am really not that privy to all the makers.
You guys are probably correct.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what he means by "the same chain as square ground but with round ground full chisel cutters". Don't know enough about chains evidently!!

I think he means full chisel that uses a round file to sharpen it. Some others use the square files.
The full chisel is squared when looking at it from the top, but gets sharpened with a round file.

If you read it carefully, they're referring to the chain, which is indeed an Oregon. "Comes with a full chisel semi skip chain made by Oregon"

If you ever need a tip for it, you'll want a Tsumura. They're the best bars I've ran - the rails on the Oregon are much softer.

Depending on how these sell and perform, I think there are more custom comstock pro bars in the works for the future. According to their sales department.
I sent them an email inquiring about their pro bar. We'll see.

I received mine today. I can confirm it is made by Tsumura. But they sent me a Husky mount, not a Stihl mount. [emoji45]

New bar to come beginning of next week.

No. You have to call in and order them. Too new to be on their website.
Great company to deal with.

I was going to switch the chain to full chisel, but I already have a few, so I got that semi skip chisel chain. Looks cool. Missing every 3 tooth. They state that it helps clean out the groove better when cutting.
