Your probably right. There was a thread on one of the forums a few years back. That a guy was reattaching the heating element. With success. I remember reading it, but I sure cant find it now

Thanks, I know about those ads (same seller).

I was hoping to get the heating foil locally to save on shipping from Germany to me.
But, as mentioned, the local Stihl dealer doesn't have the part number in their system.
