I bought this clutch drum off of eBay on 05/27/2025. Already the bearings feels rough and are making noise.

Are the bearings proprietary to Stihl, or can I replace with industry standard bearings?

There's video on YouTube that explains house to change the bearings on an Echo clutch drum. The Stihl should be similar.

Trimmer is the FS 91 R

There should be a standard bearing can you press in there. You'll need to remove the old bearing and get the measurements on it and then use those numbers to search for a replacement bearing. Sizing should be in millimeters.

The bearing in the FS91 is not intended to be replaced, unlike, for example, the bearing in the FS240 (see IPL excerpts below). That said, it can be done if the bearing can be removed without damaging the plastic it sits in. It can be done but the bearing may start spinning if the plastic is deformed enough in the removal process. IIRC, the 91 also uses a 6202 bearing.
